Dubai Police Academy

Project Overview 

Dubai Police Academy is a government development located in Al Ruwayyah 1, United Arab Emirates, designed to support specialized training, administrative, and operational functions for law enforcement. The project focuses on delivering a secure, high-performance institutional environment aligned with strict government and operational standards. 

XD House, as the construction tech consultancy for Kingspan, supported the project through façade system coordination and digital delivery processes. The approach focused on improving design accuracy, constructability, and integration of building envelope systems within a complex institutional framework. 

SCOPE AND CHALLENGES 

• Design and coordination of a complex curved roof system using standing seam modular technology  

• Coordination of roof geometry with multiple trades to eliminate clashes and interface conflicts  

• Delivery of building envelope using DFMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) approach  

• Integration of multi-layer roof system including KingZip standing seam panels by Kingspan Insulated Panels  

• Coordination of modular skylight systems within complex roof geometry  

• BIM-based workflow for design coordination, validation, and construction integration
