Project Overview
The new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) will be a state-of-the-art piece of infrastructure, planned and designed with 21st-century thinking. With Sydney's aviation demand set to double over the next 20 years, the airport will help Sydney to meet this demand and provide a source of jobs and economic growth for the region.
XDH was appointed to provide BIM services for the project, focusing on developing the BIM model from LOD 350 to LOD 500, including shop drawings and as-built drawings for the roof cladding system, supplied by Kingspan Insulated Panels Pty Ltd. The scope covers approximately 42,000 m² of roof area, for Kingspan Insulated Panels Pty Ltd.
